BARRIE, November 2, 2023 - DriverDX is proud to announce that its founder and CEO, Angie Ricci, has been honoured with the Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence presented by The Barrie Chamber of Commerce at the Liberty North event facility on the evening of Thursday, November 2, 2023.
The Arch Brown Entrepreneur Award of Excellence is awarded to the member who exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit - a true passion for building something great from nothing and pushing themselves to the limits to achieve big goals. The entrepreneur must demonstrate a record of business excellence through innovation and provide overall positive returns to the local economy and community in Simcoe County.
This prestigious event presented by Meridian Credit Union celebrated exceptional businesses and individuals who have made significant contributions to the economic and social well-being of the Barrie community.
"These award recipients exemplify the very best of Barrie's entrepreneurial spirit," said Paul Markle, Executive Director of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce. "Their commitment to excellence, leadership in their respective industries, and the economic growth they foster set a high standard for all businesses within the city."
Afterwards, Ricci shared "Barrie is a beautiful place to start a company and the business community has been incredibly supportive. Located close to Toronto and on the shores of Lake Simcoe it has a small-town feel but with all the amenities of a large city. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else and it has been an honour to give back to Barrie."
The Barrie Business Awards Gala serves as an annual reminder of the strength and resilience of Barrie and the event is meant to encourage a better place to live, work, and play.
