TORONTO, October 9, 2022 - DriverDX has been recognized as an Innovation category finalist for the 2022 Tourism Industry Association of Ontario awards. This award celebrates individuals, organizations and businesses driving innovation in the Ontario tourism industry.
“The industry collapsed and those who survived were soon hit with record high gas prices and a looming global recession.”
“DriverDX operates in the transportation industry where fleets on average saw decreases in revenue of over 80% during the pandemic. The industry collapsed and those who survived were soon hit with record high gas prices and a looming global recession,” says Angie Ricci, Founder & CEO of DriverDX.
Ricci’s goal is for DriverDX to become the top platform for fleet owners, providing them with powerful tools to source commercial drivers, find insights into their operations, and provide better flexibility for drivers. With this award nomination it looks like she's on her way!
The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario created the Resiliency Awards to recognize those in the industry who have shown perseverance in industries severely impacted by the pandemic.
This year’s awards have two new elements of criteria. The first is that each nomination must be able to provide the actions made towards diversity, equity, and inclusion in what they are being nominated for.
The second addition was one that came from one of the most positive elements that came out of the pandemic. The desire and opportunity to promote and collaborate.
